Position Overview:
Reports to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. Responsible for effective leadership, supervision and processing of new students and administrative functions to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises admission representatives and admission office associate.
- Participates in development of a comprehensive enrollment plan.
- Manages plan execution, reviews and approves travel calendars.
- Participates in admission recruitment, travel and phone-call campaigns.
- Responsible for international student file completion and issuance of I-20s.
- Coordinates recruitment processes with identified partners (e.g. KTA)
- Develops and leads ongoing training and skill development for admissions staff related to effective recruitment and admission procedures.
- Oversees accurate completion of applicant files, file review and works closely with division chairs as needed.
- Ensures campus visits for individual and groups are done in a professional manner.
- Coordinates with Vice President for Enrollment and Director of Marketing to ensure collateral, website and other recruiting communications are up-to-date and accurate.
- Oversees accuracy of data entry in computer systems.
- Monitors and reviews follow up of inquiries and applicants to ensure timely and appropriate follow up.
- Works closely with enrollment support offices to ensure students complete the enrollment process (financial aid, student accounts, student success).
- Ensures a positive working environment.
- Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
- Record of successful sales and sales management required
- Prior college admissions experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Sales Force or other Customer Relationship Management software preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Public speaking experience.
- Experience working with high school, adult, military and online markets highly preferred.
